The reputation of the newest addition to Hotard & Hise, Ms. Simmons, far preceded her before she joined the firm as an associate attorney. She has built a reputation for dependability, consistency, and confidence in all areas of practice. Her attention to detail and organizational skills are valuable assets while preparing for trial.
Receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and English from Clemson University in 2005, Ms. Simmons worked for two years on a Gubernatorial Campaign as well as a Legislative Aide for two Georgia House Members before enrolling in law school. In 2010, Ms. Simmons obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Charleston School of Law. After graduation, Ms. Simmons gained her admittance to the State Bar of South Carolina in November 2010 and then her admittance to the State Bar of Georgia in November 2011.
In the past, Ms. Simmons focused primarily on immigration, probate/estate, real estate, family, and juvenile law. Ms. Simmons’ also serves as the Vice Chairman for the Toccoa-Stephens County Humane Shelter, is a member of the Paul Anderson Memorial Park board, an alumni member of Leadership Toccoa-Stephens County and a member of the Alcoholic Beverage Control board. Ms. Simmons thrives on empowering individuals to obtain their desired results. This drive, along with the indispensable knowledge and experience of Hotard & Hise, makes for a high-powered combination.
