Matt Hawkins was born in Amarillo, Texas and raised in Pampa, Texas. Matt attended Texas Tech University and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition. After working in the legal field for a personal injury attorney, Matt attended Texas Southern University. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and obtained his J.D. in 2002.
