Matt graduated from Cook College, Rutgers University in 1996 with a degree in Environmental Policy, Institutions, and Behavior.
After graduating from college, Matt was employed as an environmental chemist before deciding to obtain a law degree. He subsequently attended Seton Hall University School of Law and earned his degree in 2004.
While attending law school at night, Matt worked full time for AIG as a claims adjuster handling lead paint poisoning claims.
In November 2001, Matt left AIG and began working at Levinson Axelrod as a full time law clerk and became an associate with the Firm when he was admitted to the New Jersey Bar.
He lives in Monmouth County with his wife and four children and is an active volunteer in his town.
