- Victor BaltaVictor Balta is an appellate attorney at McKeen & Associates. Victor graduated from Georgia State University in Atlanta with a Bachelor's in Business Administration - summa cum laude - and from Michigan State University College of Law - summa cum laude. While in law school, Victor Balta was managing editor of the MSU Law Review and a member of the Geoffrey Fieger Trial Practice Institute. During law school, Victor won several Jurisprudence awards for the highest student achievement in several courses.
Victor has been a member of the State Bar of Michigan since 2013. Prior to McKeen and Associates, Victor handled numerous complex legal matters and appeals, including: gross negligence; statutory immunity; employment discrimination; and police misconduct claims. Victor has successfully briefed and argued cases involving recreational waivers; the Michigan Governmental Tort Liability Act; the Michigan Ski Area Safety Act; Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; the Elliot Larsen Civil Rights Act; and 42 U.S.C. § 1983. He has been listed in the National Trial Lawyers and Thompson SuperLawyers® for 2021 and 2022 for civil litigation.
Victor joined McKeen & Associates in 2022 and handles medical malpractice, personal injury, and appellate matters.
