Viorel Ciobanu majored in international business and economics and graduated with highest distinction. Prior to law school, Viorel was a consultant for a European Environmental Company. Viorel received his law degree from Robert H. McKinney School of Law. Viorel was an Eli Lilly Scholarship Recipient as well as an ICLEO Fellow while in law school. While in law school, Viorel served on the Dean's Tutorial Society. Viorel also worked at the Indiana Attorney General's Office in the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit. Viorel also served as a Summer Judicial Law Clerk for Chief Judge Margret Robb and also worked as an assistant at the Indianapolis Bar Association. Viorel served as a 2014 Heartland Pro Bono Law Clerk. Viorel is a registered mediator as recognized by the Indiana Supreme Court. Among other languages, Viorel is fluent in French, Romanian, and Russian. Viorel primarily practices in business, civil, and insurance litigation as well as international law and immigration.
