I hired Jesse Baez of Brooks and Baez after I became extremely disappointed and lost faith in my previous attorney. A premarital agreement was part of my divorce process and was the guiding document in the end. Jesse Baez was able to get the proper settlement based on the agreement and without a trial. The previous attorney was using the document to increase his fees. I and very satisfied with Mr. Baez, his staff, and his efficiency. His knowledge of law and settlement strategy was excellent. Mr. Baez and I communicated in a timely manner. He always responded to my questions. He made recommendations that saved me thousands of dollars. My divorce ended very quickly after I hired Mr. Baez. I highly recommend Jesse Baez.

Jesse is an amazing and knowledgeable attorney in numerous legal matters. His best qualities are how thoroughly he prepares for every aspect of the case (boxes of materials in my situation) and his dedication to his clients. He offers any possible resource that he can think of to assist in preparation (in my case this included local specialists and consulting professionals in other areas of the state for information). My case started out as relatively straightforward, but became more complicated as the years wore on. Yes, I said YEARS. My case took over 3 years from filing to very unsuccessful outcome. Documents that would have easily and permanently showed the opposing party was lying on the witness stand, had trespassed more than once on my property while undergoing litigation, and had zero credibility were not addressed in court. The judge made a number of incendiary remarks about me which were not in accordance with courtroom decorum — remarks that should have induced a mistrial — and not a peep out my attorney. A juror even stood up and stated that the opposing party and witnesses had made remarks about me outside of the courtroom in his presence, potentially posing as juror tampering, and still my attorney did not ask for a mistrial. Verdict was against me, and my attorney offered a reduced settlement in lieu of an appeal. Drew up the paperwork, and the opposing party failed to live up to the terms. What does my attorney do? Calls the opposing party’s attorney instead of heading back to court for breach of contract! I spent thousands of dollars and placed my faith in my attorney, and he let me down by failing to address the foundational documents and facts that would have clearly resulted in a win for me — and him. When asked why he did what he did, he said that he was “tired of the case.” I trusted this man right up until the day of court, and he throws me under the bus…and then makes sure the bus runs me over when the opposing party failed to abide by the conditions of his “out-of-court” settlement. Find yourself a better lawyer. i would NOT recommend this attorney.
