I had a misdemeanor that was upgraded to a felony once I left Va. Ultimately, I was detained out of town on a fugitive warrant and held for about a month. My initial encounter with Mr. Crowley was on the initial trial hearing of my family member’s DV case. I found that Mr. Crowley had a high level of integrity and knowledge, and seemed genuinely concerned about the case as an individual, rather than just another case number on the dock. During the trial, Mr. Crowley asked all the relevant questions, reviewed all the documents of the opposing counsel, he found the inconsistencies with the plaintiff’s testimony, and was VERY concise with the cross examination.
