My son was injured when I took him to a salon for a haircut. Despite my instructions to not shave the back of his neck, the hair stylist did anyway and did it with a manual razor! She cut him badly, causing over 20 cuts to his neck and upper back, some of which scarred up. My son was bleeding everywhere, I was outraged. When I went back inside the salon to report it, the owner was indifferent, and quickly shuffled me outside so no customers could overhear what they did. I seriously injured my right shoulder working as a boat mechanic. The doctors told me that I had torn my rotator cuff and detached my bicep tendon. I tried to live and work with the pain for a while. My shoulder was not getting better…just worse, and my doctor eventually told me that I couldn’t work anymore. I was told that it was too late to report the claim and I decided to call an attorney.
