The law firm of Jeffrey M. Rosenblum, P.C. is founded on the 29 years of legal experience of Jeffrey M. Rosenblum. With three offices on Long Island (Great Neck, Melville and Rockville Centre) and one in Westchester (Purchase), the Firm employs five other senior attorneys and a certified paralegal. The Firm is skilled to address complex legal problems in the general practice of law with specific expertise in the following areas:

Bankruptcy, Debtors' Rights and Creditors' Rights – One of the Firm's primary practice areas is the representation of individual (and commercial) debtors in Chapters 7, 13 and 11 in bankruptcy courts in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut. Also, the Firm provides its specific expertise and services for asset protection, stopping creditor harassment, stopping foreclosure, staying garnishment and liens. We are a debt relief agency. We help people file for bankruptcy relief under the Bankruptcy Code.

Federal and Local Taxation – An equally significant and primary practice area of the Firm is Federal and state taxation. The founder of the Firm, Mr. Rosenblum, is also an accountant who received his LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law. Prior to forming the firm, Mr. Rosenblum was a law clerk to the Chief Judge of the U.S. Tax Court in Washington, D.C. and a tax partner, for fifteen years, in a mid-sized New York City law firm. The Firm provides representation in all IRS, state and local tax, sales tax, bankruptcy tax, estate tax, trust tax, international tax, and corporate tax matters.

Trusts and Estates – The Firm provides comprehensive estate, trust and financial planning services and elder law planning to individuals and fiduciaries. It provides counsel on all aspects of estate planning and administration, including preparation of wills and trusts, tax and insurance planning, probate and administration of estates, Surrogate's Court proceedings, including litigation, and other fiduciary matters such as conservatorships, guardianships and accountings. As a hallmark of the Firm is its tax expertise, the Firm is sensitive to the importance of tax consequences and the development of successful strategies for minimizing estate, gift and income taxes.

Corporate and Commercial – The Firm is involved in a wide spectrum of general corporate, finance, securities, tax, franchising and licensing matters. Services range from transactions involving the purchase and sale of businesses, preparation of shareholder buy-sell and redemption agreements, limited partnership agreements and employment, consulting and non-competition agreements. The Firm's tax expertise in Federal, state, local and international tax law is utilized to structure the buying, selling and reorganization of businesses, as well as identifying the tax implications of client operating plans. Clients are provided with tax planning strategies that respond to specific problems or opportunities.

Real Estate – The Firm has been involved in virtually all aspects of single family residential, multi-family, and commercial real estate matters. Service to clients in addition to purchasing and selling real property includes the financing and refinancing of mortgage loans.

Litigation – The Firm's litigation practice is unusually diverse. Representative matters include disputes involving contracts, corporate and commercial matters, creditors' and debtors' rights, partnership disputes, construction, real estate, bankruptcy, tax and trusts and estates matters. In the taxation field, services include practice before the Internal Revenue Service and state and local taxing authorities, as well as tax litigation in the U.S. Tax Court and in Federal district courts.
