Smith LaCien LLP

I have been working with one of the founding partners of Smith LaCien, Todd Smith, for close to five years now. A friend of mine recommended I see Mr. Smith because of an accident where I incurred a severe back injury in 2016. Although I had paid for my professional consulting insurance for over 10 years, the insurance company would not pay because of laws in place in the state of Indiana where the accident occurred. I always hear stories about lawyers not returning calls, not being available, not following up etc, but that was in no way my experience. Todd was always available to me. If I called him he returned my call in less than a day, usually within hours. If I sent an e-mail, I got a response very quickly as well. Even though it took several years to get through the court systems, I never waivered in my confidence that Todd would follow through and get me the best settlement possible. Todd’s resume speaks for itself, but his actions, the way he treats his clients speaks even louder. In the last couple of months I have worked with one of Todd’s associates, Andrew Mason, and had the exact same experiences as with Todd. I recently did get my settlement, so my journey with fighting with insurance companies is over. If yours is at the beginning, though, I can’t imagine finding anyone much better than Smith LeCien. If you are looking for an injury lawyer, I would whole heartedly recommend you stop with this law firm. I feel so blessed to have had Todd and Andrew on my side!
