David Whaley founded Whaley Paules, LLC, in 1979 and focuses on personal injury and criminal defense. He has tried over 450 jury trials and knows that preparation goes a long way to winning in court. Attorney Whaley was selected for inclusion in Virginia Super Lawyers in 2009 and 2011 to 2022 and Best Lawyers recognized him with its Lawyer of the Year, Criminal Defense: General Practice award in 2021. Abigail Paules has spent her career zealously advocating for clients and defending their constitutional rights. She worked as a public defender for the first six years of her career, representing indigent clients charged with crimes. During that time, she handled almost 2,000 cases. She believes that everyone has the right to effective counsel regardless of their background or income.
