As an attorney, Adam L. Rothenberg has only represented the rights of those who are injured as the result of another's negligence: plaintiffs. This is a cause for which he is passionate. Adam focuses his practice on a broad range of complex litigation cases, especially in the areas of medical malpractice and nursing home litigation, as well as products' liability, construction and automobile accidents. He practices both in the New Jersey's State Superior and Appellate Courts as well as in Federal District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Adam believes it is essential to keep his clients fully informed and to express a strong sense of compassion when advocating on their behalf.Adam served as President of the Middlesex County Trial Lawyers Association (2010-2011 term) and he is a life member of this organization. He also serves on the Board of Governors for the New Jersey Association for Justice (formerly ATLA-NJ).
His other professional memberships include AAJ National, the Middlesex County and New Jersey Bar Associations, and he serves on the State Bar Association's Committee on Certification. In April 2010 Adam was named the Civil Trial Practice Attorney of the Year by the Middlesex County Bar Association, and in this same year he was designated a Superlawyer by the New Jersey Monthly Magazine. He has been listed in Who's Who in American Law since 1996.
Adam is also an active member in his community's Lion's Club, an organization benefiting the sight and hearing impaired.Adam has been a Certified Civil Trial Attorney since 2001. He lectures regularly at continuing education seminars for other attorneys on such subjects as Medical Malpractice, the New Jersey State Tort Claims Act, the Charitable Immunities Act and trial techniques and preparation.Although Adam has lived in New Jersey for over 20 years, he grew up in Texas.
His undergraduate education began at Tulane University in New Orleans and was completed at the University of Washington upon receiving his Bachelor's of Business Administration with Honors in 1987. Prior to studying law, Adam gained valuable business experience working in Human Resource Management at the Atlanta Journal Constitution, a hospital and a toy company.
Ultimately, he decided to fulfill his dream to study law and earned his J.D. Degree, Cum Laude, from Seton Hall University Law School in New Jersey in 1993.Shortly after being admitted to the bar, Adam joined Levinson Axelrod in January 1994. He was fortunate to be mentored early in his career by Richard Levinson, working closely with Richard on difficult cases prior to assuming his own case load. In 2001, Adam became a partner of the firm. He lives in Union County with his wife and two children.
