Ms. Fowler has been a practicing attorney for 17 years. She was first licensed in Massachusetts in 2003 after completing her legal education, which began at Cleveland Marshall School of Law and concluded at Boston University. Ms. Fowler was subsequently licensed in Michigan in 2009 and has been practicing in Michigan continuously since that time. Ms. Fowler has also been admitted to practice and appear before the United Stated Supreme Court. As a Managing Litigation Partner, Ms. Fowler has a breadth of experience and practice areas. Presently, she spends the majority of her time representing Plaintiffs in First and Third party motor vehicle accident cases, which are her specialty. Ms. Fowler's background as a former Assistant Prosecutor in the Child Abuse Unit of the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office in Detroit provides her with a unique perspective in handling criminal law and defense matters as well. Having prosecuted cases ranging from misdemeanor assault to premeditated child homicides, Ms. Fowler is uniquely qualified to protect the rights of criminally charged defendants against allegations of criminal wrongdoing.
Ms. Fowler is also a practicing family law attorney, and has built a significant practice representing clients in divorce, child custody, support paternity actions, appearing regularly before the Wayne and Macomb Family Courts. Ms. Fowler's specialty are handling financially complicated divorces, where asset division and property valuation are significant issues, as well as complicated custody actions (including internation custody disputes). Again, given her prosecutorial experience in the Child Abuse Unit, Ms. Fowler is well positioned to be empathetic and understanding of clients with high conflict and diffcult custody and parenting time issues, and how those disputed can arise, and change quickly. There is not a scenario that Ms. Fowler hasn't seen. In her spare time, Ms. Fowler is an avid cook and gardener, enjoying complex dished made with herbs from her own backyard garden. She also enjoys time with her children, significant other and law partner Mr. Williams, and their dogs, Charger (Golden Retreiever), Abe (Chocolate Lab) and Thor (French Bulldog).
