Mr. Marenstein attended California State University at Northridge before receiving his law degree from San Fernando Valley Law School. He was certified by the State Bar of California as a specialist in workers' compensation in 1978, and is a member of the California Applicant's Attorney Association. He has argued before the California Court of Appeal and Supreme Court, and has been active in drafting legislation favoring injured employees.
