Alexander Wiegel's practice focuses on general and complex commercial litigation, business law, distressed investments, and data security.Mr. Wiegel joined Perry Johnson Anderson Miller & Moskowitz LLP in April 2022 as part of its complex litigation and distressed investments practice group. Working within that group, Mr. Wiegel represents clients in Sonoma County and around the country.
Previously, Mr. Wiegel worked at Wiegel Law Group PLC, a boutique law firm specializing in complex real property litigation. He joined that firm in 2013 as a law clerk, and became an associate in 2018 after being admitted to the California Bar. There, Mr. Wiegel represented clients in litigation and settlement negotiations concerning everything from landlord-tenant class action lawsuits to purchase and sale non-disclosure litigation.
Mr. Wiegel graduated summa cum laude and obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2017, where he was a Dean's List Scholar and McAuliffe Honor Society Member. At USF, Mr. Wiegel served as a research and teaching assistant to Professor Emeritus Jack I. Garvey. In this capacity, he accompanied Professor Garvey on a humanitarian mission to Croatia in the summer of 2016 to advocate for the humane treatment of refugees.
Mr. Wiegel also deeply enjoys foreign languages and international travel. He received his Bachelor of Arts in German Studies from Lewis & Clark College in 2013.
