Alexander Egner

Alex Egner is a Lancaster based attorney, with years of experience throughout south central Pennsylvania. Attorney Egner handles a number of areas of practice and is available to assist clients in a number of potential legal situations.

Alex Egner is Lancaster county born and raised. After graduating from Lampeter- Strasburg High school he joined the US Army and became a Military Police Officer. Alex received the same training that federal police officers receive, He knows the ins and outs of the criminal justice system. He attended Dickinson College where he was the first-ever triple major in Political Science, History, and Middle East Studies while earning a security certificate in conjunction with the US Army War College. After a short period of active duty Alex returned to school at the Penn State Dickinson School of Law, he was the Sydney D. Kline Legal Scholar. Alex clerked at a general practice law firm for two years. Alex worked at the Lancaster Public Defender's office where he began to learn the importance of representing clients here in Lancaster County. He did an externship at the Auditor General's office writing legal briefs and preliminary objections in lawsuits before the highest levels of court in Pennsylvania.

Alex was an Assistant District Attorney. While a prosecutor he had several jury and bench trials and practiced before the Lancaster Courts almost every day. Alex was assigned and handled the most serious of cases and was trained and worked in the general trial unit, the DUI unit, the Domestic Violence unit, and the Juvenile unit. Alex Egner was the head of the Expungement unit, the Welfare Fraud division, and Small Games of Chance/ Bingo Law issues.

Alex Egner was also responsible to be the District Attorneys' representative on the Veterans treatment court team and for working with the drug court team as needed.
