Amanda L. Kurecian is on the front line of litigation at Kline & Specter, part of the team of attorneys that evaluates cases as they first arrive at the firm and helping to research and assign them for further investigation.
Kurecian is an experienced attorney who opened her own firm in 2013, was of counsel at a suburban law office and has worked at Kline & Specter since 2018 on medical device product liability litigation, including hundreds of successfully litigated transvaginal mesh cases.
She handled all aspects of litigation, including evaluating the viability of potential claims, reviewing medical records, conducting legal research, drafting correspondences and briefs and representing clients at conferences. Kurecian conducted depositions of clients, expert witnesses and treating physicians while also assisting lead attorneys in preparing for trial.
She previously worked at the Ashby Law Offices in Quakertown, Pa., where she worked on estate, family and orphans' court matters, performing legal research, drafting pleadings and representing clients at court conferences and hearings.
Kurecian held legal internships with the Montgomery County (Pa.) Office of the Public Defender and the Hon. Edward G. Smith of the Northampton County Court of Common Pleas.
Kurecian graduated cum laude from the Thomas R. Kline School of Law, where she also was awarded Public Service Honors. She earned her bachelor's degree at Lehigh University.
