Ana Reyes

Attorney Ana Reyes was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She is an Attorney at Law graduate with a Juris Doctor degree from the School of Law of the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico. She graduated with honors (Cum Laude) and received the award of academic excellence above all those in her class in Probative (Evidence) Law.

In 2003, she obtained her license as a lawyer in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, where she began her legal career: first in areas related to mortgage banking and contracts, and, later, in areas related to government, public policy, legislation and grants.

In 2014, she relocated to the Houston-Galveston metropolitan area in Texas, where she started in the immigration field by voluntarily providing legal services to the immigrant community through a recognized non-profit organization in the city. In August 2016, she was admitted as an attorney in the state of Texas, and since then she has worked exclusively in immigration and naturalization matters.

Attorney Reyes is admitted to the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the state of Texas Bars, is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and an active lawyer of the Immigration and Naturalization Law section at the Texas Bar Association.

La abogada Ana Reyes nació y creció en San Juan, Puerto Rico. Es abogada graduada con un título de Juris Doctor de la Facultad de Derecho de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Puerto Rico. Se graduó con honores (Cum Laude) y recibió el premio a la excelencia académica sobre todos los de su clase en Derecho Probatorio (Evidencia).

En 2003 obtuvo su licencia como abogada en el Estado Libre Asociado de Puerto Rico, donde inició su carrera legal: primero en áreas relacionadas con banca hipotecaria y contratos, y, luego, en áreas relacionadas con gobierno, políticas públicas, legislación y subvenciones.

En 2014, se mudó al área metropolitana de Houston-Galveston en Texas, donde comenzó en el campo de la inmigración brindando voluntariamente servicios legales a la comunidad inmigrante a través de una reconocida organización sin fines de lucro en la ciudad. En agosto de 2016 fue admitida como abogada en el estado de Texas, y desde entonces ha trabajado exclusivamente en asuntos de inmigración y naturalización.

La abogada Reyes esta admitida a los Colegios de Abogados del Estado Libre Asociado de Puerto Rico y del estado de Texas, es miembro de la Asociación Americana de Abogados de Inmigración, y, es abogada activa de la sección de Leyes de Inmigración y Naturalización de la Asociacion de Abogados de Texas.
