Ashley N. Collado is an associate in the Tampa office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. She focuses her practice in general civil litigation with an emphasis in the areas of insurance defense, automobile and premises liability, and negligent security. Her practice includes the representation of creditors' rights in residential and commercial foreclosures; she also handles evictions. Ms. Collado is a Certified County Court Mediator who has mediated numerous mortgage foreclosure actions, debt collection claims, and landlord/tenant disputes.Prior to joining QPWB, she was an associate at a real estate law office in Tampa, where she handled numerous highly contested foreclosure and eviction cases; frequently appearing at hearings, mediations conciliations, and at trial.
Ms. Collado received her Juris Doctor from Stetson College of Law, Gulfport, Fla., in May 2010 and Bachelor of Science summa cum laude from the University of Florida, in May 2007. While in law school, she served as a certified legal intern with the State Attorney's Office for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Misdemeanor Division, she attended arraignments, dispositions, and violation of probation hearings.
Ms. Collado is licensed to practice law in Florida and is a member of The Florida Bar.
In her community, she has provided pro bono services as a legal intern with the Bay Area Legal Services, where she dedicated over 190 hours to the Senior Advocacy Unit.
