Barry Roberts graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law and was admitted to practice in Oklahoma in 1979. He worked in private practice in small firms in Norman and Oklahoma City until 1984 when he accepted a position as Judicial Assistant to Justice John B. Doolin of the Oklahoma Supreme Court. During the eight years he worked with Justice Doolin, Mr. Roberts provided research and writing services for dozens of opinions authored by the Justice, many of which were ultimately published as opinions of the Court. After Justice Doolin retired in 1992, Mr. Roberts opened his own office in Norman, where he offers complete appellate services. Since going into practice for himself he has filed more than one-hundred-fifty appeals and original actions, and several have resulted in published opinions.Personal InformationMr. Roberts was born in 1949 in Tribbey, Oklahoma. In 1970 he married his wife, Paula. They have one daughter, Amanda. Mr. Roberts retired from service with the U.S. Air Force Reserve with the rank of Colonel.
