Brad J. Lee was born in Miles City, Montana. He graduated from Jamestown College, in Jamestown, North Dakota in 1999. In 2003, he graduated from the University of South Dakota School of Law. While at law school Brad authored an article discussing statutory interpretation that was chosen for publication in the South Dakota Law Review. He was also voted 1st Place Outstanding Mediator at the 2002 National Law School Mediation Tournament, was a member of the school's Mock Trial Team, and a research assistant to Professors Frank Slagle and Michael Myers. Upon graduation, he served as law clerk to United States Senior District Court Judge Richard H. Battey. In 2005, Brad joined Beardsley, Jensen & Von Wald where he handles all types of litigation.
