Bradley W. Pratt represents people. He plays the long game, and puts his client's goals and a thoughtful strategy ahead of ego and short term gains. Some of our greatest achievements are highly confidential, for the benefit of our clients and their families, and that is just the way we like it.
Trying Cases in Courtrooms Across the CountryMost lawyers do not try cases. Bradley has taken cases to trial in courtrooms throughout the Southeast, from Texas to Georgia and from Tennessee to Florida - and coast to coast, from California to Pennsylvania. He's argued appeals before state Supreme Courts and the U.S. Courts of Appeals, and he's tried highly sophisticated cases to verdict, from a bellwether mass tort case in a "complex litigation" jurisdiction to a large-scale federal class action. Few trial lawyers today have this depth and breadth of complex and challenging trial experience.
Practice AreasBradley's practice demands justice for people who have been seriously harmed by wrongdoing. He thrives on complex litigation, with a focus on large personal injury and wrongful death cases (including trucking collisions, an area in which he has considerable experience as former national counsel for one of the largest shippers in the world), class actions (involving breach of contract, false or misleading marketing, or fraud), "whistleblower" cases (representing people with inside knowledge of violations of the False Claims Act, including false or fraudulent representations to the government in exchange for government payment), and product liability lawsuits (such as tire failures, dangerous drugs, or toxic chemicals).
Previous Work ExperienceAfter earning his law degree from The College of William & Mary, Bradley served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Rhesa Hawkins Barksdale on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. After completing his clerkship, Bradley joined King & Spalding, an AmLaw 50 firm with a 130-year tradition, and with clients that represent over half of the Fortune Global 100. Bradley was elected partner early, after only six years; throughout his tenure with the firm, he was entrusted with some of the firm's most challenging matters for some of the largest corporations in the world. Today, Bradley combines the inside experience gained as a Big Law partner with the individual attention of a small law firm to give his clients a unique advantage. One of his greatest professional satisfactions is changing his practice to now represent people and families, and he now applies the skills developed in Big Law for folks who have been harmed or defrauded by corporate wrongdoing.
FamilyBradley grew up in Mississippi where he learned to hunt from his grandfather and learned to fish from his father. Now he lives in Atlanta with his wife, Lelia, and he's passing down his love for the outdoors to his three children, Cole, Abby, and Betty.
