Ms. Lannen graduated from Texas A&M University in 2006 and graduated from Texas Wesleyan School of Law, now Texas A&M School of Law, in 2009.
As a law student, Ms. Lannen competed in multiple oral advocacy competitions, reaching the semi-finals or better with her team in most competitions and taking top individual honors at an international competition. At her graduation, Ms. Lannen earned the Pro Bono award for the number of hours she spent interning in the Dallas and Collin County District Attorney's Offices.
Ms. Lannen began her legal career prosecuting misdemeanor offenses in Collin County. She tried over 30 jury trials in her two years as a misdemeanor prosecutor, along with hundreds of trials before the court and hearings. She later pursued a position in McLennan County in the Crimes Against Children division where she prosecuted felony offenses against the most vulnerable members of society.
In the Fall of 2012 Ms. Lannen opened her own office in Bosque County. In private practice, Ms. Lannen handles primarily Criminal Defense. She also handles CPS representation and Family Law cases.
Ms. Lannen has earned a reputation in the community for handling cases with integrity. She is most at home in a courtroom advocating for her client, but recognizes that the best results often happen before the courtroom doors open.
