Brooke White

Brooke graduated from undergrad at the University of Georgia with a 4.0 GPA, Presidential scholar award, with a B.S.F.C.S. in Human Development and Family Sciences. She then attended the University of Georgia School of Law, graduating with her Juris Doctor in the top 10% of her class.

In law school, Brooke spent two years in the Criminal Defense Practicum, where she served clients at the Athens Public Defender and Jackson County Public Defender Office. She was sworn in under the Student Practice Act and was able to receive two “Not Guilty” verdicts for two different clients in their criminal state court trials. She also worked with clients facing probation revocations, felony charges, misdemeanor charges, and bond hearings. For her commitment to clients and work at the public defender office, Brooke received the Shelly D. Knox Award for Outstanding Public Service and the Outstanding Legal Defense Clinic Student Award. Additionally, she served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate, advocating for children in the Georgia foster care system during dependency proceedings.

In her free time, Brooke enjoys spending time with her husband Garrett, watching Georgia football, cooking and being outside. She also serves as a Board Member for the Board of Directors for the College of Family and Consumer Sciences Alumni Association.
