As a first-generation American citizen, Carlos began his impressive education at UTRGV in Edinburg, Texas where he earned two Bachelor's degrees, one in Science and another in Arts. He also earned two Master's degrees, one in Public Administration and a second in Business Administration. He is the first member of his immediate and extended family to graduate from college in the United States. From there, he attended the Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston where he earned his law degree.

His educational background, incredible work ethic, and persuasive skills, have given Carlos the necessary tools to reach outstanding results in the courtroom. He's also gained the admiration and undying respect of his peers. This, added with his intense dedication and extensive trial experience, gives Carlos the drive to do what's best for his client.
