Charles M. Good

In Pemberton Law's Alexandria office, Charley Good mainly practices family law which includes divorce, child custody, child support, parenting time, and adoption. Additionally, Charley has built his practice in criminal law, real estate litigation and contract litigation.

Charley Good grew up in Alexandria, Minnesota. His strong family and community ties make Alexandria the ideal place to practice law. Charley graduated magna cum laude from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Legal Studies and Philosophy. He received his Juris Doctorate from William Mitchell in St. Paul, Minnesota, graduating cum laude.

While attending William Mitchell, Charley made numerous appearances in district court as a certified student attorney logging over 300 hours of courtroom experience. Charley is a past President of the Douglas County Bar Association and has Co-Authored and updated Chapter 13 of the Minnesota Civil Practice Deskbook on Depositions.

Prior to college in 2002, Charley was instrumental in founding the Douglas County Teen Court program through an internship with the Douglas County Attorney's Office. Charley wrote grants, did research and organized the infrastructure of Douglas County Teen Court which provided the Alexandria area with an effective diversion program for first time juvenile offenders.

Outside of the office, Charley enjoys playing basketball and tennis, golfing, fishing, reading and traveling. Charley is active in the community, as part of the Alexandria Kiwanis Club's and is a past President, Love INC Board Member and Chair of the Board (2016) and current member and Past President of the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors. Charley and his wife Heather love being in their hometown, close to their families and enjoy contributing to the community and raising their sons Otto and Emmitt in the same wonderful place where they grew up.
