Charles R. Wood

Charles R. Wood is an associate in the Jacksonville office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. and is a member of the firm's Financial Services Practice Group. Mr. Wood regularly represents clients engaged in residential and commercial property management, default servicing, banking, mortgage lending and mortgage servicing, and title insurance industries in both transactional and litigation matters. Primarily, his practice focuses on residential and commercial foreclosures, asset recovery, real estate transactions and title insurance, title insurance claims, construction disputes, documentation of leases, loans and secured transactions, commercial and residential evictions, and collection matters.

In addition to real estate and banking related matters, Mr. Wood also handles admiralty and maritime law matters including personal injury claims brought under general maritime law and the Jones Act, customs and immigration compliance, crew contracts, vessel arrests, vessel documentation, and stream of commerce issues.

Mr. Wood received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida and Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Wood was a member of the Military Law Society and the Maritime Law Association of the United States. Mr. Wood is also a former recipient of the U.S. Army Reserve Officers Association of the United States citizenship award.

Mr. Wood is licensed to practice law in the State of Florida. Mr. Wood is a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar; the Commercial Real Estate Professionals & Investors Group; the Maritime Law Association of the United States; and the Jacksonville Bar Association.
