Christine received a B.A. from Bowdoin College, Brunswick, Maine in 1986 with a major in economics and a minor in French. While at Bowdoin, Christine earned varsity letters in Soccer, Basketball and Softball and received the Annie Dan Award for Character, Courage and Commitment to Team Play. Christine earned a Masters Degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in Sport Studies in 1989 before completing her Juris Doctorate at the Northeastern University School of Law in Boston, MA. She joined Shaheen & Gordon in September 1998.
Prior to arriving at Shaheen & Gordon, Christine worked as an attorney at the Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs in Washington, D.C. and spent two years clerking for the New Hampshire Superior Court. At the Department of Justice, Christine worked on matters including statutory compliance for the various components of the Office of Justice Programs including the National Institute of Justice, the Bureau of Justice Assistance and the Office for Victims Crime. Christine worked extensively on the Prison Industry Enhancement Program and served on the Less-Than-Lethal Weapons Task Force.
Christine is licensed to practice law in New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts, as well as the Federal District Courts of New Hampshire Maine. Her practice is focused on plaintiff's personal injury litigation. She has successfully litigated and/or resolved a variety of personal injury cases in both New Hampshire and Maine. At present, Christine is currently working on a personal injury case involving serious injury to a student-athlete during an interscholastic event as well as several medical malpractice cases. In addition, Christine also handles domestic relations cases involving all areas of domestic relations and other general litigation issues including collections and contracts. Christine is an active volunteer with AIDS Response Seacoast.
