Christopher “Kit” Davlin

Christopher Barr Davlin (Kit) focuses his energies on litigation and pre-litigation strategies to help solve the headaches that affect business ventures before they become bona fide problems. Kit uses his diverse background in business, communication, and the entertainment industry to frame and address his clients' issues in the manner best suited to positioning them to maximize their objectives. His goal is to listen carefully to his clients' needs, present them with strategies for success, and then do everything he can to help them accomplish their objectives.

Born and raised in Alaska, Kit spent many years traveling the world before moving to Los Angeles to pursue filmmaking in Hollywood. He came to Denver to attend the Denver University Sturm College of Law and fell in love with Colorado's culture and scenic beauty.

At DU, Kit achieved top ten individual scores in the prestigious Hoffman Cup trial competition on two occasions, was selected to represent DU in national negotiation competition, and was twice a member of the National Appellate Team. While still in law school, Kit began working with the Denver District Attorney's Office, gaining experience in the violent crimes "gang and gun unit" as well as being the DA's representative in Drug Court.

​​Upon graduation, Kit had the chance to work with private attorneys and was able to apply his unique background to litigation support for multi-million dollar legal actions. He later became an associate working on business litigation and interstate corporate matters.

Kit became a name partner with the boutique law firm of Kuhn, Davlin & Gury, LLC which specialized in Corporate Law, Transactional Law and Civil Litigation, before leaving to found the Davlin Law Firm in 2009.

Since founding his own firm, Kit has brought new fields into his practice in response to his client's myriad needs. He is proud to offer a wide variety of services and bring an ever expanding breadth and depth of knowledge and experience to bear on his client's behalf.
