Chris is a member of the Municipal and School Group and will be working closely with the firm's Business and Finance group on corporate transactions and litigation.
Chris is experienced in representing clients in zoning and permitting matters including, occupancy permits and intramunicipal transfers of liquor licenses. He has represented clients in jury trials, non-jury trials, arbitration hearings and magisterial district justice hearings. Chris is also experienced in drafting corporate governance documents, including operating and partnership agreements.
Chris is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. At Pitt, he was the Assistant Editor of the Pittsburgh Journal of Technology Law and Policy. While working toward his undergraduate degree in History at Wake Forest University, Chris was awarded the prestigious C. Chilton Pearson Research Prize in U.S. History.
Chris is the author of two publications, Are Attorneys' Fees Provisions in Invoices Enforceable in Pennsylvania? Lawyers Journal (ACBA) (2010), and Slaying the First Dragon: Pennsylvania's Unique and Cheap Method for Serving Chinese Defendants Pursuant to the Hague Convention, (The Pennsylvania Lawyer) (2011). In addition, Chris is a 2012 Pennsylvania Rising Star.
Chris is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, the District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
