Christopher Mulligan

Christopher Sean Mulligan is a Florida native and third generation Florida attorney. Born in Inverness, Florida, Mr. Mulligan graduated with honors and a Bachelor in Science from Florida State University, majoring in Political Science and Criminology/Criminal Justice and then obtained his Juris Doctorate in 2006 from the George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C. While in Washington, Mr. Mulligan worked for a variety of nonprofit organizations in the areas of domestic violence, criminal justice reform, education policy, and campaign finance reform. Mr. Mulligan has been quoted or published in the New York Times, The Washington Post, Atlanta Constitution Journal, Cleveland Plain Dealer, and The Boston Globe, among many others. Mr. Mulligan drafted important portions of several pieces of state and federal legislation, including the 2005 Violence Against Women Act which authorized demonstration grants to Colleges and Universities that implemented programs to educate students and aid victims of abuse. Returning to Florida to practice law, Mr. Mulligan has focused most of his time on working in the nature coast community to provide affordable legal services in the areas of Family Law, Dependency, Business Law, Personal Injury, and Criminal Law. His office is located in historic downtown Brooksville. Mr. Mulligan is a Member of the Florida Bar, the American Bar Association, the Hernando County Inns of Court, and the 11th District Federal Court of Appeals.
