        I was a client a Daniel Chung Lee on a divorce case. In the early stage, he filed my Respondent’s Original Answer and Rule11 Agreement without noticing me, without my review and approval. Later I found out there are several errors in his filed answer, he did not correct them. His answer put me in the bad situation which I will loss my custody of children. Therefore, I email him the attorney termination and ask him to withdraw himself from my case.In the initial conversation, he told me that their billing and works will be transparent and frequently updated in the mycase website. It turns out not true. I must consistently check the court’s public record to find out what he was doing. After I terminated him, he posted the first bill with charging many things which I am not aware of, phone calls, emails, teleconference, case studies …etc, total of $6660 from my retainer. In the initial conversation, he estimated that the contest divorce case will last about two years with total cost of about $7500 in the retainer. I terminated him within first three month, he charged 90% of my retainer. My belief that an attorney should have his professional legal ethics, therefore I decide to post my experiences with Daniel Chung Lee. Even though he will know who I am and might have negative impact in this small world.PS, after his withdrawal, he files a hearing notice with judge, again I am not aware of what he was doing. I found out this later after received his 2nd bill from mail which is already too late to me.
