Nothing is more important to Attorney Corinne Hoover Six than family and such is the reason she focuses her practice on family law. She is a third generation attorney, Corinne wanted to be a lawyer because she learned from the very best- her grandfather, Attorney Orval R. Hoover, and her father, Judge Kim R. Hoover. Through these examples, Corinne learned from a very young age that nothing is as important as maintaining close family relationships, even in the midst of difficult family law proceedings. For this reason, Corinne is passionately motivated to helping clients resolve their family law issues, even if it means navigating through the unfortunate world of divorce or dissolution.
Corinne is a proud alumna of both The University of Akron School of Law and Ohio University, where she earned her law degree and undergraduate degree, respectively. After college and before practicing law, Corinne gained relevant experience in the business and political fields, where she managed her family's property business, ran her father's judicial campaigns and served as an office manager and bookkeeper for different law practices. Corinne also worked at the Summit County Board of Elections where she was responsible for hiring and overseeing the training of election poll workers. Since then, Corinne also gained a wealth of experience in the legal field, which includes, but is not limited to, working as a law clerk and apprentice to her grandfather and his firm, serving as a law clerk to Judge Linda Teodosio of the Summit County Juvenile Court and to the Appellate Division of the Summit County Prosecutor's Office, working as a part time Assistant Law Director/Prosecutor to the City of Tallmadge and is currently serving as the magistrate in Norton Mayor's Court.
Currently Corinne is the owner and managing attorney of Hoover Kacyon, LLC, focusing her practice on family law and litigation. She is also a magistrate in Norton Mayor's Court where she presides over traffic and misdemeanor offenses.
