Courtney has worked for lawyers since she was a teenager, covering many different areas of practice. However, the common factor was a single focus: client relationships. Courtney takes pride in getting to know her clients by listening to their concerns so that she can fight on their behalf and hold responsible parties accountable.
Courtney is an active member of the Mecklenburg County Bar Association and the North Carolina Advocates for Justice. She has served on many Mecklenburg County bar committees over the past several years. Courtney was also selected to be a part of the inaugural class of the NCAJ Next Program for the 2021-2022 year, which prepares the next generation of trial lawyers to lead the organization. Courtney has been selected to the 2022 and 2023 Super Lawyers North Carolina Rising Stars List. Only 2.5% of lawyers in the State receive the honor of being named a Rising Star. Courtney also teaches Continuing Learning Education courses on liens and subrogation rights with the North Carolina Advocates for Justice.
Courtney earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Florida and earned her Juris Doctor from Charlotte School of Law.
