Craig W. Zanetti, Managing Partner of Amendola Doty & Brumley, PLLC, graduated from the University of Idaho in 2004 with a bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Studies and a minor in Psychology. He then graduated from the University of Idaho School of Law in 2008. After graduation, Craig moved to Coeur d'Alene, where he began working as a Deputy Public Defender for Kootenai County. In August 2011, he joined Amendola Doty & Brumley, PLLC and became partner in 2016.
Craig's primary focus is criminal defense, having defended serious felony sex cases, domestic disputes, and driving under the influence matters. He personally researches and investigates each case for the best possible outcome. In addition to attending and facilitating continuing legal education about criminal defense matters, Craig has completed nationally certified training for DWI Detection and Standardized Field Sobriety Testing and possesses an in-office Lifeloc breathalyzer (an Idaho State Approved breath testing device) to be familiar with all facets of a driving under the influence arrest for initial seizure to arrest. Craig practices other areas of law as well, including wills and probate, family law, and a general civil litigation practice including personal injury.
Craig was born in Silverton, ID and grew up in Wallace, ID. Craig traveled much of the United States as an adolescent as well as during his college and adult years, once driving from Moscow, ID to Key West, FL. Being a lifelong resident of North Idaho, Craig always knew he wanted to practice law in Coeur d'Alene. He enjoys traveling, sports and the outdoors with his wife and children.
