Daniel Travostino graduated from St. Mary's High School in Perth Amboy, New Jersey in 1968. He then graduated from Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey, magna cum laude, in 1972 with a B.A. degree. In 1975, he graduated from Georgetown University Law Center with his Juris Doctor.
Mr. Travostino was admitted to the Virginia Bar in 1975, the Washington D.C. Bar in 1976 and the Maryland Bar in 1984. From 1975 to 1978 he was an associate at Doherty, Sheridan, Grimaldi, & Shevlin. And from 1978 to 1985 he worked for the Loudoun County Attorney's Office. From 1985-1991 Mr. Travostino was a partner at Ritenour & Travostino and from 1991-2014 he held a solo practice.
