Mr. Williams has been a practicing attonrey for 12 years. Mr. Williams is licensed to practice law in Michigan and is also licensed to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States. Mr. Williams completed his legal education at Wayne State University Law School in Detroit, and upon graduation began working for the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office. Mr. Williams worked in the Auto Theft Unit prosecuting Identity Theft and other related complex financial crimes, in the General Trials Unit, where he was a Courtroom prosecutor for a variety of Judges, and in the Elder Abuse Unit, where he handled crimes with elderly victims and witnesses, from minor assault and theft cases to premeditated homicides. Mr. Williams left the Prosecutor's Office in 2015, going to work for the commercial litigation firm of Fausone Bohn, LLP located in Northville, MI. There, Mr. Williams, extensively in the areas of criminal defense, family law, divorce, child custody, and probabte litigation. Mr. Williams, also assisted with matters involving municipal law, as well as commercial litigation cases involving breach of contract and other civil violations.
At Fisher Fowler Dodson Williams & Nesi, Mr. Williams focuses his practice in four areas; personal injury, specifically complex first and third party auto negligence cases, family law/divorce/child custody/support matters, criminal and professional licensing defense, and commerical medical marijuana facilities licensung applications and litigation. Mr. Williams has years of experience handling all these matters, and can do so comfortably.
In his spare time, Mr. Williams enjoys spending tine with his step-children, his significant other and law partner Ms. Fowler, and their three dogs, Charger (Golden Retriever), Abe (Chocolate Lab) and Thor (French Bulldog). He also enjoys reading fiction, fishingm gardening and cooking.
