Daniel Martin

Daniel Martin is an associate attorney who focuses his practice on personal injury and zoning cases. A native of Northern Virginia, Daniel decided to remain in the Roanoke Valley after graduating magna cum laude from Washington and Lee University School of Law in 2017. In law school, Daniel gained valuable experience working at a corporation in the technology industry and for two judges: Stephen R. McCullough (now a Justice of the Supreme Court of Virginia) and Michael F. Urbanski (Chief Judge of the Western District of Virginia). Daniel also was a finalist of the John W. Davis Appellate Advocacy Brief-Writing Competition and an editor on the Washington and Lee Law Review, with his article winning the 2016 Roy L. Steinheimer Award for outstanding student Note.

After graduating law school, Daniel clerked for the circuit judges of the Augusta County Circuit Court before joining Fishwick & Associates PLC in the Summer of 2018. Since joining the firm, some of Daniel's accomplishments include resolving many personal injury cases, obtaining summary judgment for plaintiffs in ERISA litigation, successfully defending summary judgment in a case brought by an inmate, and obtaining default judgment against a national entity. Today, he leads the firm's personal injury practice and, when he can, assists with the firm's technology needs.
