Daniel T. Smart

Dan is an associate at Dudley & Lake and works out of the firm's Libertyville office. Dan has been an associate at Dudley & Lake since 2014 after serving as a law clerk for the firm throughout law school. Dan devotes his entire practice to representing injured individuals and families in the Chicagoland area and collar counties, as well as counties in Central Illinois. Dan handles all types of personal injury cases including motor vehicle collisions, dog bite liability, nursing home neglect and abuse, wrongful death and medical malpractice. While attending Valparaiso University School of Law, Dan served as a law clerk at the Illinois Attorney General's Office Consumer Fraud Bureau. He also held a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Diane Kavadias Schneider, Superior Court Judge for Lake County, Indiana. Throughout law school, Dan was an active member of the Illinois State Bar Association and American Bar Association. Dan graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 2011.

Dan is a member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, Illinois State Bar Association and Lake County Bar Association.
