Mr. Latherow received his B.A. in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame in 1991 and his law degree from Ohio Northern University in 1995. At Ohio Northern University, Mr. Latherow was the Manuscript Editor of the Law Review (1994-1995). He authored "Graham v. Collins: A Return to Arbitrary Sentencing," 20 Ohio Northern University Law Review 1075, 1994.
Mr. Latherow was admitted to the Kentucky Bar in 1995 and the Ohio Bar in 1996. He is licensed to practice in all state courts in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the State of Ohio as well as before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the U.S. District Court, Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky. He concentrates his practice in the areas of medical malpractice, health law, personal injury, trial practice, insurance law, and employment law.
Mr. Latherow has been active in the Boyd County and Kentucky Bar Associations. He has served as Vice President of the Boyd County Bar Association since 2003. He was on the executive committee of the Kentucky Young Lawyers Association, serving as 7th District Representative and was a member of the House of Delegates. He has been on the Board of Directors for Kentucky Defense Counsel. Mr. Latherow currently serves on the Kentucky Advertising Commission where he has being appointed Chair for a third term. He also served on the Board of Directors of IOLTA. He has assisted the Kentucky Bar Association by serving as a presenter and moderator at continuing legal education programs.
