David L Fairbanks

David L. Fairbanks practiced law for over fifty years. He joined the firm in 1985 and retired after thirty-five years with this office. Mr. Fairbanks has been a member of the Hawaii Federal Judicial Selection Commission, a member of the Merit Selection Panel of the U.S. District Court for the District of Hawaii, a member of the Judicial Selection Commission for the State of Hawaii, a board member of Hawaii Lawyers Care, and a trustee of the Client's Security Trust Fund of the Hawaii Supreme Court. He has been a lawyer representative to the Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference for Hawaii and a commissioner for the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education. He was a hearings officer for the Office of Disciplinary Counsel and served as chairman of the Local Rules Committee for the U.S. District Court for the District of Hawaii.
