Debbie Pleatman is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. Debbie is admitted to practice in Kentucky, Ohio, and the District of Columbia. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor's in Business Administration (BBA). After working in retail management, Debbie graduated from the Northern Kentucky University, Salmon P. Chase College of Law (JD).
Debbie has worked at Ziegler & Schneider, P.S.C. since 1992. She is a partner with the firm and concentrates her practice in civil litigation. She has worked in many matters, including, but not limited to, construction disputes, contract disputes, collection, and landlord-tenant issues. Debbie also handles matters involving all types of family law. Debbie has worked on dissolution of long-term marriages and short-term marriages. She has handled issues involving children, parenting time, grandparent visitation, child support, and many other facets of domestic law.
Debbie currently serves on the Ethics Committee of the Kentucky Bar Association. She also serves the Kentucky Bar Association as a member of the Hotline Committee. As a Hotline Committee member, she assists attorneys with ethical questions which may arise in the course of their client representation. Debbie is a Life Fellow of the Kentucky Bar Foundation, serves on the Board of the Northern Kentucky Volunteer Lawyers, Inc., and is on the volunteer panel for Legal Aid of the Bluegrass.
She and her husband, Greg Frank, live in Villa Hills, Kentucky, and between the two of them have raised 3 daughters.
