- Rates, Retainers and Additional Information - I try to use flat fees as much as possible- just so you know how much money you are going to have to be spending. If we need to work on something at my hourly rate it is typically $200.00/hour. I strive to be very up front about costs- I understand that is the biggest barrier to people coming to a lawyer.
