Devon DuPuy

Devon DuPuy was born in Odessa, Texas, a proud Texan with deep roots in the Lone Star State. Those who know Devon will be quick to tell you that he has much in common with the ideals that have made Texas a world icon. That unique blend of Southern manners and civility mixed with the brash cowboy spirit that won the West lends itself to an aggressive style of litigation that ensures his client’s voice rings loud and clear in the courtroom. Primarily a Plaintiff’s lawyer with over 7 years of experience in the areas of personal injury and civil litigation, Devon is well versed with the tricks that Insurance Defense attorneys employ to distract juries and drown out a victim’s voice. This experience and force of personality has led to multimillion dollar awards for Devon’s clients.

Devon is a Licensed Member of the Texas State Bar since 2008, a Member of the American Bar Association, President of the Denton County Trial Lawyers Association, a Member of the Denton County Bar Association since 2008, a Member of the College of the State Bar of Texas and is admitted to practice before the Northern, Eastern, and Southern Districts of Texas Federal Courts.

Devon was a speaker on the topic of CPS Appeals at the 2015 Denton County Bar Association’s Attorney Ad Litem Seminar and has been an active volunteer mediator for the Denton County Alternative Dispute Resolution Program (DCAP) since 2011.

Outside of the courtroom, Devon enjoys an active lifestyle which includes West Coast Swing dancing, weight lifting and martial arts training. Devon is a 3rd Dan Black Belt in American Karate and has trained extensively over the years in several other forms of martial arts such as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, and Aikido. Additionally, Devon is happily married and loves to share his wife’s passion of dancing and occasionally competing in West Coast Swing.
