Ms. Fleming has worked in the legal field the entirety of her career. Born and raised in Sacramento, Ms. Fleming graduated from St. Francis High School before earning a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from California State University, Chico. While attending Chico State, Dillon was an intern at the Community Legal Information Center (CLIC) in the Women's Law Project. She also worked part-time as a law clerk for a local insurance defense law firm throughout college. Following graduation, Ms. Fleming returned to Sacramento where she worked as a paralegal for a personal injury law firm for several years before enrolling at Lincoln Law School of Sacramento.
While attending evening classes, Ms. Fleming managed to work full time as a law clerk, first at a personal injury firm and then later for an insurance defense firm. In that capacity, Ms. Fleming garnered significant experience in all aspects of civil litigation, including trial. In her third year, she represented Lincoln Law School at the U.C. Davis Asylum and Refugee Law Moot Court Competition. She also was the editor of Lincoln's bi-annual law journal, Voir Dire, her third and fourth year.
Ms. Fleming is a member of the California State Bar and Sacramento County Bar Association.
When she is not practicing law, Ms. Fleming enjoys volunteering, spending time with friends and family and traveling. She serves as an Adoption Counselor with Happy Tails Animal Sanctuary in Sacramento and has been the Philanthropy Chapter Advisor for Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority at Chico State since 2013.
