Biography
Attorney Stoehr operates a solo law practice in Altoona, Pennsylvania, with 21 years of experience. After working at a larger law firm where he became a partner, Attorney Stoehr decided to become a solo practitioner in 2004. He is a former claims representative which gives him great insight into how insurance companies settle claims. Attorney Stoehr represents injured people in Blair and the surrounding eight counties handling automobile cases, claims against nursing homes and hospitals, and general personal injury litigation. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, selected by Super Lawyers in 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2016, and also rated “Superb-10” by AVVO. He is former lecturer of business law at Penn State. Attorney Stoehr also writes and publishes a magazine with circulation to over 30,000 households, called Just Cause: A Magazine About Accidents, Injuries, and the Law. Attorney Stoehr received his B.A. with honors from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1980. He received his J.D. at Temple University Law School in 1994 in its evening program while working full-time during the day as a claims representative. Attorney Stoehr has tried cases in various Pennsylvania state courts and the Middle District and Western District of Pennsylvania.
