Attorney Earl Ormond worked as a police officer in the city of Stamford for 21 years before retiring as a sergeant in 2006. While working as a police officer he attended graduate school and received a master's degree in Education from Sacred Heart University and then attended Quinnipiac University School of Law and received his law Degree in 1999.
Attorney Ormond served as in-house counsel at Amphenol Corporation until 2005 and then opened the Stamford office of Dreier LLP, a 300 attorney, Park Avenue Law firm. In 2008 Attorney Ormond joined another large Connecticut firm, Pepe & Hazard as part of their commercial litigation group in addition to their white-collar defense team.
In 2010 Attorney Ormond together with Ralph Romano formed the Law firm of Ormond Romano LLC. It was at Ormond Romano LLC that Attorney Ormond focused his practice on Personal Injury and Residential Real Estate. In 2021 Attorney Ormond was asked to join Owens, Schine and Nicola "Of Counsel", which allows him to serve his clients while pursuing his passion of teaching.
In 2016 Attorney Ormond was hired as Program Coordinator of the Criminal Justice Program at Naugatuck Valley Community College. This thriving program at NVCC has over 300 students and over 20 faculty and staff members. He teaches classes in Constitutional Law, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Police Ethics, and also runs the Cooperative Learning Program at the college.
