Elizabeth M. Andes

We are pleased and proud to welcome Elizabeth Andes as the newest member of our team. She is an important addition to the services we provide our clients in the several areas of the firm's law practice.

Elizabeth concentrates her practice on real estate, community association law, probate, landlord/tenant, and land use matters. She is also experienced in civil litigation, municipal government law, environmental law, employment discrimination, consumer fraud, and commercial litigation matters, as well as in administrative proceedings.

Elizabeth Andes has been named a "Rising Star" by New Jersey Super Lawyers Magazine in 2021.* Ms. Andes is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association. She was a Trustee of the Morris County Bar Association from 2018 through 2021, and served as a pro bono attorney with the Battered Women's Legal Advocacy Project in 2019 through 2020. Also, she has served as a court-appointed attorney in guardianship proceedings.

A graduate of Rutgers Law School in Newark, New Jersey, Elizabeth was a co-Editor-in-Chief of Rutgers Race & the Law Review, following her tenure as an Associate Editor. Through her law school studies, Ms. Andes also earned a Corporate and Business Law Certificate and a Criminal Law and Procedure Certificate. As a law school student, she interned as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Stephan C. Hansbury, P.J.Ch., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Morris/Sussex Vicinage.

After graduating law school, Elizabeth first served as a law clerk to the Honorable Stuart A. Minkowitz, A.J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Morris/Sussex Vicinage assisting on civil, criminal and chancery matters.

She has been published in the Winter 2018 edition of The Authority View, a publication of the Association of Environmental Authorities, for her article "When Public Access Means Access to Your Private Device." Ms. Andes presented as a panelist at the New Jersey State Bar Association 2018 Public Utility Law Section Conference, and as a moderator at the Morris County Bar Association Legalpalooza event in 2019.
