Attorney Richter practiced law for nearly ten years in New York City. She was an associate at Carter, Ledyard & Milburn and then at Rubin, Baum, Levin, Constant & Friedman, before her husband's corporate transfer brought her family to New England. Attorney Richter's areas of practice include general corporate, banking, and securities law, mergers and acquisitions; trusts and estates; and appellate litigation.
As the daughter of a naval officer, Liz grew up on or near various military bases in the United States and abroad. She attended Middlebury College and received her undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from Yale University. After working as a paralegal for a litigation firm in Washington, D.C. for two years, Liz earned her law degree from the University of Virginia.
