Elyse H. Stiner

Elyse Stiner comes to Allen & Allen with over a decade of experience, which includes being a founding equity partner at a Virginia law firm, and serving in organizations that foster her passion for advocacy. Her practice focuses primarily on Workers’ Compensation, where she has excelled at securing strong results for injured clients.

For one case that held a lot of meaning for Elyse, she represented a claimant who suffered severe chemical burns from a workplace accident. She fought for and obtained a $2,084,578.00 settlement which was published in Virginia Lawyers Weekly. The event was so harrowing, that the client suffered psychological trauma, pain management and multiple surgeries. Elyse consistently drove long distances to see her client, meet with his doctors, and secure strong evidence for the case.

Her passion for advocacy is prevalent throughout her career. She volunteered at the Legal Aid Justice Center in Richmond, worked as a legal intern for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) in Miami, and is active in fundraising for Kids’ Chance, which provides college and trade school scholarships to children of Virginia workers who have been severely injured or killed in a workplace accident. She was named a Virginia Super Lawyer in 2022, after being named a “Rising Star” consecutively since 2016.

Elyse grew up outside of Philadelphia and is passionate about the local sports teams. Her education took her to Vermont, Miami, and ultimately Richmond, Virginia. She lives with her young daughter and has recently delved into her newest hobby: home improvement and design projects. She’s willing to travel to see certain rock and bluegrass bands, as she’s a big fan of live music.
